Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Lead in Indiana to coach and train warehouse associates, including forklift operators, while providing backup to supervisors. The role covers shipping/receiving, inventory control, and general warehouse tasks in a fast-paced distribution environment.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in warehousing with 6 months of leadership experience and a forklift license (or ability to obtain one). Safety, compliance, and teamwork are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; must pass a background check and drug screen.
• Minimum 2 years of warehouse/distribution operations experience.
• 6 months of leadership or supervisory experience and/or training in a distribution environment.
• Must be a licensed forklift operator or able to obtain a Forklift Operator license.

Responsibilities

• Coach and train warehouse associates and forklift drivers.
• Provide backup to the supervisor as needed.
• Operate powered industrial equipment to move products for distribution.
• Complete shipping/receiving paperwork per SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in inventory/cycle counts and report variances.
