Job summary

APL Logistics seeks an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to coordinate daily inventory activities and act as a supervisory backup. You will apply the ACI model to improve processes, reduce waste, and maintain strong customer and internal relationships.

Responsibilities include cycle counts, BTB variance resolution, and maintaining records across inbound/outbound shipments. Strong communication and bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years inventory control or accounting experience.
• Familiar with distribution and warehouse procedures and inventory control functions.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with good interpersonal ability.
• Proficient data entry and Microsoft Office skills.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate cycle counts, investigations, and inventory reporting; maintain accurate records.
• Review BTB reports and resolve variances in a timely manner.
• Maintain OSD log and resolve inbound/outbound issues.
• Provide on-going training and orientation for subordinates; train users of PKMS.
• Serve as liaison between warehouse, CSRs, and customers; resolve problems promptly.
