Sabre Industries is seeking an Inventory Control Lead in Fort Worth, TX to ensure accurate counts, handle work orders, and verify materials. You will supervise the Inventory Control team, coordinate with production, and drive throughput while maintaining safety standards.

The role requires 3–5 years of inventory experience, leadership skills, and forklift certification; favorable experience with ERP/MRP and MS Office is expected. Full-time role with competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED; Associate’s degree preferred but not required.
• 3–5 years of inventory experience in manufacturing/production.
• Previous lead or supervisory experience required.
• Experience operating a 15,000+ lb all-terrain forklift desirable.
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail oriented with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems.
• Must pass Sabre forklift certification.
• Regular and timely attendance required.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes and organizes Inventory Control team’s daily work to meet needs.
• Verifies schedules with Inventory Manager; informs employees of changes.
• Identifies, tracks and manages shortages while aiding sequencing of work to maximize throughput.
• Leads assigned team to safely accomplish tasks hands-on.
• Coordinates material issues with production to support smooth operations.
• Manages inventory levels and directs corrective action as needed.
• Researches missing parts to find current locations.
• Inspects/audits outbound orders for accuracy and compliance with instructions.
• Coordinates, performs and reconciles weekly cycle counts of inventory materials.
• Conducts annual physical inventory counts.
• Processes customer orders, pulls materials, and oversees packing and shipping.
• Conducts shipping and receiving processes as required.
• Assists in loading/unloading trucks using a forklift as needed.
• Serves as liaison between Inventory Control and other departments.
• Acts as a backup for Supervisor as needed.
• Maintains positive, cooperative relationships with coworkers and others.
