Job summary

Sabre Industries is seeking a lead Inventory Logistics professional to oversee inventory for jobs and shipments in a safe, cost-effective manner. The role reports to the Inventory Logistics Supervisor and involves training, guidance, and coordination to achieve company KPIs.

Responsibilities include coordinating material needs with production, cycle counts, and maintaining Epicor records, while ensuring safety guidelines and teamwork across shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; manufacturing experience ok.
• Able to read and write in English.
• Experience operating 15,000+ lb all-terrain forklift; Sabre forklift certification preferred.
• Detail-oriented with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Back up for the Supervisor as needed.
• Verify quantity and quality of received items per Sabre SOP.
• Coordinate material needs with production.
• Maintain positive relationships with coworkers and management.
• Ensure paperwork is completed and submitted promptly.
• Manage locations of all purchased plate and parts in Epicor.
• Assist in cycle counts and year-end audit.
• Assist in loading/unloading trucks.
• Operate material handling equipment (cranes, forklifts, Mi-Jack).
• Self-starter with strong verbal and written communication.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
