Job summary

Sabre Industries in Texas is seeking an Inventory Control Supervisor to oversee daily operations of the Inventory department, verify accuracy, and coordinate with Production to ensure smooth material flow.

You will lead, coach, and train staff, maintain procedures, reconcile cycle counts, and report to management with clear metrics. A Bachelor’s in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management and 3–5 years in Inventory Control are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Inventory Control or Supply Chain Management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Ability to lead, coach, and train a diverse team.
• Strong accuracy, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Hands-on in inventory/yard areas; able to work at a computer.
• Excellent communication with management and staff.
• Regular and timely attendance.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and organize Inventory Control schedules.
• Lead Inventory Control team to meet tasks safely.
• Coordinate material issues with production.
• Coach employees to improve performance.
• Assign daily work in Inventory Control.
• Maintain procedures and training processes.
• Reconcile weekly cycle counts and assist annual counts.
• Serve as liaison between Inventory Control and other departments.
• Ensure product flow from Inventory to Production.
• Communicate with management to achieve results.
• Maintain safety and integrity.
• Attend shift as scheduled and work with coworkers.
