Job summary

Forgent Power is seeking an Inventory Lead to manage daily inventory operations, ensuring accurate records in ERP/WMS and supporting material flow across warehouse, purchasing, production and logistics teams.

This hourly role requires 3+ years in inventory control, 1+ year of leadership, strong Excel skills, and the ability to train staff while maintaining a safe, efficient work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years inventory control, warehouse, or materials management experience.
• 1+ years leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience using ERP, WMS, or inventory management systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and inventory reporting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to pass background and drug test prior to employment.
• Ability to work in a team environment to accomplish daily tasks while managing through shifting priorities and ambiguity

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily inventory operations and accuracy within ERP/WMS.
• Lead cycle counts and audits to ensure inventory integrity.
• Coordinate inventory movements between locations and departments.
• Ensure timely and accurate inventory transactions and reporting.
• Train and direct inventory staff and maintain a safe work environment.
