Job summary

You will follow FIFO, verify incoming product conditions, prepare shipments per ISO standards, and ensure shipping paperwork accuracy.

The role requires hands-on handling, participation in physical inventory, and adherence to 6S and continuous improvement practices to optimize storage and reduce obsolescence.

Qualifications

• Experience with inventory control processes and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining an accurate inventory and ensuring ERP counts match physical stock.
• Following FIFO (First in First out)
• Verifying conditions and accuracy of incoming product during receiving
• Preparing shipments per ISO procedures and work instructions
• Verifying accuracy of shipping paperwork
• Issuing inventory to the floor and shipping product to customers following FIFO
• Unloading incoming shipments and counting weights when required
• Utilizing 6S methods, ISO procedures, and work instructions to optimize inventory space
• Stocking packaging for production and notifying Purchasing when levels are low
• Participating in physical inventory
• Identifying slow moving/obsolete inventories and coordinating disposal with Customer Service and Accounting
• Performing other duties as assigned
