POS Portal Inc. in Sacramento, CA, is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to serve as SME for inventory accuracy, receiving procedures, and control processes.

You will coach and onboard inventory and receiving staff, escalate issues, and collaborate with cross-site teams to standardize practices and improve efficiency. This role requires hands-on warehouse operation experience and strong attention to detail.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-4 years in inventory/receiving/warehouse ops.
• Experience as SME in inventory or warehouse operations.
• Proven ability to train and develop staff.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience with cycle counts and inventory reconciliations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory reporting tools.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as SME for inventory control, receiving procedures, and accuracy processes.
• Coach and train inventory and receiving associates, including onboarding and cross-training.
• Act as primary escalation for inventory discrepancies and system issues.
• Monitor daily receiving activities for accuracy and timeliness.
• Oversee receiving, put-away, transfers, cycle counts, and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with Inventory Coordinators to support cycle counts and audits.
• Review and update procedures for accuracy, compliance, and effectiveness.
• Align processes with other locations and implement improvements.
• Support system implementations and warehouse process improvements.
