Job summary

Kroger is seeking a Distribution Center Operations Supervisor to oversee daily processes in the DC/FC, ensuring safe, efficient, accurate inventory control and WMS performance.

You will lead a production team, mentor direct reports, collaborate with vendors and category managers, and travel to support new site openings as needed. Bachelor's degree required and 2+ years leadership in distribution.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of logistics and supply chain.

• Intermediate math and computer skills.
• Ability to write brief reports and log documentation.
• Ability to understand complex oral and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accuracy of receiving product into the warehouse and resolve receiving discrepancies.
• Work with multiple vendors, including scheduling and customer relations.
• Contact and build relations with category managers and buyers.
• Ensure proper dating procedures are followed and manage shrink levels.
• Monitor and oversee warehouse space; plan for promotional activity.
• Monitor pack changes, short dates and pick slot changes.
• Plan for inbound fluctuations.
• Oversee layout compliance and allocation of pick slots by commodity group.
• Collaborate with regional supply chain managers on seasonal plans.
• Oversee/monitor cycle counts and inventory control.
• Identify and implement technology and procedural solutions to increase productivity.
• Monitor system logs and reports for WMS performance and data integrity.
• Supervise and coach direct reports; conduct performance reviews.
• Travel to support new site openings as needed.
