Job summary

Kroger is seeking a supervisor to oversee daily operations in a distribution/fulfillment setting in Monroe, OH. You will coordinate day-to-day activities with other supervisors and the manager, promote safety and sanitation, and plan staffing to meet production goals.

Responsibilities include supervising hourly associates, coaching performance, maintaining records, and generating productivity reports to meet budget and divisional objectives.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of leadership experience.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to report and recommend solutions.
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in computer software; MS Word and Excel emphasized.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with fellow supervisors and Manager on daily operational activities.
• Manage and promote safety and sanitation in all areas.
• Plan production/staffing need on a daily, weekly, period basis.
• Work with all other areas to maximize productivity and performance.
• Monitor and meet all order accuracy requirements/expectations.
• Conduct meetings with hourly associates.
• Oversee personnel records for all associates.
• Help develop and train hourly associates.
• Generate distribution/service center productivity reports on labor standards and hours.
• Supervise and coach direct reports; conduct performance reviews and provide feedback.
• Must be able to perform essential functions with or without accommodation.
