Job summary

Bob's Discount Furniture is seeking an Inventory Control Assistant Manager in Solon, OH to lead the on-site IC team and ensure accurate reporting, inventory integrity, and audit compliance across the distribution centers.

You will direct daily activities, oversee cycle counts, discrepancy resolutions, and partner with HR to interview, hire, and train new staff while driving performance improvements and safe operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of leadership experience.
• 3+ years of inventory experience in a warehouse or DC.
• Experience delivering performance evaluations and training staff.
• Strong mathematical ability and attention to detail.
• Proficient in SAP, WMS, and Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Direct and prioritize daily IC team activities including reporting, cycle counting, and discrepancy resolution.
• Ensure all daily/weekly/monthly reporting and audited tasks are completed accurately.
• Partner with HR to interview, hire, and train new IC staff.
• Lead daily standup meetings and communicate department initiatives.
• Develop product familiarity and collaborate with DC operations to improve processes.
