Job summary

Floor & Decor in Tulsa, OK is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to ensure accuracy and integrity of store inventory. The role supports cycle counts, audits, and adjustments across the distribution process while maintaining exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail setting.

The position requires at least one year of inventory control experience in a big box environment, strong Excel/Office skills, and the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• One year of inventory control experience in a big box retail company or equivalent.
• POS analysis and reporting experience.
• Business analysis experience is a plus.
• Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Excellent customer service and ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow the daily cycle count and category review calendar.
• Audit and adjust inventory discrepancies in the system.
• Review shipping and receiving documents for accuracy.
• Notify managers of discrepancies in tagging or SKUing.
• Audit various processes (BFR, SRR, RTV, Voids) per SOP.
• Run monthly OSDR reports to verify merchandise movement.
• Document findings and submit to Operations Manager.
• Check customer receipts daily and adjust discrepancies.
• Communicate daily CCYL discrepancies and propose fixes.
• Maintain cycle count paperwork per SOP and ensure changes are implemented.
• Assist Operations Manager during physical inventory periods.
• Ensure proper labeling on written-off wood boxes.
• Maintain accuracy of movement reports and discrepancy resolutions.
