Job summary

Contract Manufacturer Llc is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to ensure accuracy of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods through daily cycle counts in our Oklahoma plant. You will record counts in the inventory system and help maintain production readiness.

You should have a high school diploma, experience in inventory control, and proficiency with Excel. You will collaborate with production, procurement and logistics, participate in audits, and contribute to continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Proven experience in inventory control or cycle counting in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Understanding of lean manufacturing principles is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cycle counts of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
• Utilize inventory management systems and tools to record inventory levels, adjustments, and discrepancies.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies by identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Collaborate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure inventory accuracy and availability.
• Conduct periodic audits to verify the integrity of inventory data and processes.
• Assist in implementing continuous improvement initiatives to optimize inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in designated inventory storage areas.
