Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking an Inventory Control Associate to maintain accuracy and integrity of store inventory. The role supports cycle counts, discrepancy investigations, and daily reporting in a fast-paced retail setting.

The position requires 1 year of inventory control experience, strong attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills. Opportunities exist for growth with competitive benefits and a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• One year of inventory control experience in a big box retail environment or equivalent.
• Point of sale analysis and reporting experience.
• Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Detail oriented and highly organized.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Follow the daily cycle count and category review calendar.
• Audit and adjust inventory in the system and document discrepancies.
• Review shipping/receiving documents for accuracy.
• Flag tagging or SKU discrepancies to department managers immediately.
• Run monthly reports to ensure correct merchandise movement.
• Check a sample of customer receipts daily and adjust discrepancies.
• Communicate inventory issues to Store Management with proposed solutions.
