Job summary

MTF Biologics in Edison, NJ is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator to maintain inventory accuracy for finished goods, HCT/P and devices, ensuring proper storage, quarantining non-conforming tissue, and enabling efficient order fulfillment.

You will perform cycle counts, coordinate with other departments, and keep storage logs up to date while working Monday through Friday, with occasional extended hours during peak inventory periods.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Preferred Associate's Degree; 1–3 years experience in related field.
• 2 years tissue banking experience or clerical experience preferred.
• Proficient data entry and strong computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records for finished goods inventory and related items.
• Transfer tissue for release, rework, review or rejection as needed.
• Perform quarterly cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Coordinate with departments for timely tissue movement.
• Inspect tissue received for accuracy and integrity.
• Pull tissue for processing per work orders.
• Package and schedule tissue for irradiation.
• Handle incoming/outgoing tissue for x-ray.
• Maintain storage logs for HCT/Ps and medical devices.
• Keep shelves, refrigerators and freezers organized.
• Work overtime during physical inventory peaks.
