White Cap is hiring an Inventory Control Associate in North Bergen, New Jersey. The role focuses on inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and resolving discrepancies to keep systems balanced during daily order processing.

Formación

• 2–5 years of experience in inventory control or related role.
• Forklift experience preferred; ability to operate safely.
• Spanish language proficiency is a plus.
• Knowledge of construction and industrial products helps.

Responsabilidades

• Audit inventory to keep systems in balance during daily order processing.
• Research and resolve issues, adjustments, and discrepancies.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and complete follow up to adjustments.
• Maintain time control tables consistent with base tables.
• Receive products from vendors and check for quality.
• Communicate potential quality issues to buyers.
• Maintain quality control and inventory control manuals.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Follow company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Typically 2–5 years of experience.

An Inventory Control Associate at White Cap…

• Audit inventory to keep systems in balance during daily order processing.

• Research and resolve all issues, adjustments and discrepancies. Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures.

• Assists in maintaining inventory accuracy. Complete follow up to all previous inventory adjustments. Completes and reviews cycle counts.

• Maintain time control tables consistent with base tables, key and review allocations.

• Receives products from vendors to check for quality. Communicates potential quality issues to buyers.

• Maintains quality control and inventory control manuals.

• Lifts and carries up to 50 pounds.

• Follows company safety policy and procedures.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Generally has 2-5 years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift experience preferred.

• Spanish language proficiency.

• Experience with sales order computer software, preferably Oracle.

• Knowledge of construction and industrial products.
