Job summary

White Cap Management LLC in Memphis is seeking an Inventory Control Associate to audit inventory, balance systems during daily order processing, and resolve discrepancies. You will help maintain accuracy and support internal controls while working with vendors and buyers to ensure quality.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of inventory experience; forklift experience and Spanish language proficiency are preferred.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience preferred.
• Spanish language proficiency.
• Experience with sales order software, preferably Oracle.
• Knowledge of construction and industrial products.
• 2–5 years of experience in inventory control is commonly required.

Responsibilities

• Audit inventory to balance systems during daily order processing.
• Research and resolve issues, adjustments, and discrepancies; ensure adherence to internal controls.
• Maintain accuracy through cycle counts and follow-up on prior adjustments.
• Receive products from vendors and inspect quality; communicate issues to buyers.
• Maintain inventory control manuals and time/allocations in system tables.
• Follow safety policies and perform other duties as assigned.

An Inventory Control Associate at White Cap...

• Audit inventory to keep systems in balance during daily order processing.
• Research and resolve all issues, adjustments and discrepancies. Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures.
• Assists in maintaining inventory accuracy. Complete follow up to all previous inventory adjustments. Completes and reviews cycle counts.
• Maintain time control tables consistent with base tables, key and review allocations.
• Receives products from vendors to check for quality. Communicates potential quality issues to buyers.
• Maintains quality control and inventory control manuals.
• Lifts and carries up to 50 pounds.
• Follows company safety policy and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Generally has 2-5 years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications
