Job summary

White Cap is seeking an Inventory Control Associate to join our on-site team in California. You will audit inventory to balance systems during daily order processing, resolve discrepancies, assist in maintaining accuracy, and uphold internal control procedures.

Qualifications include 2–5 years of experience; forklift experience and Oracle proficiency are preferred. You will work with vendor intake, quality checks, and maintain manuals; lifting up to 50 pounds and strict safety policies apply.

Qualifications

• Audit inventory to keep systems in balance during daily order processing.
• Research and resolve all issues, adjustments and discrepancies. Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures.
• Assists in maintaining inventory accuracy. Complete follow up to all previous inventory adjustments. Completes and reviews cycle counts.
• Maintain time control tables consistent with base tables, key and review allocations.
• Receives products from vendors to check for quality. Communicates potential quality issues to buyers.
• Maintains quality control and inventory control manuals.
• Lifts and carries up to 50 pounds.
• Follows company safety policy and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Generally has 2-5 years of experience.
