Job summary

White Cap is hiring immediately for an Inventory Control Associate in New Jersey. The role focuses on auditing inventory during daily order processing and maintaining accuracy across systems and cycle counts.

The ideal candidate has 2-5 years of relevant experience, forklift experience is a plus, and familiarity with Oracle is preferred. This on-site position offers comprehensive benefits and stability with a growing company.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Audit inventory to balance systems during daily order processing.
• Research and resolve issues, adjustments and discrepancies; ensure internal control procedures are followed.
• Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy; complete follow-ups to adjustments; review cycle counts.
• Receive products from vendors; check quality; communicate issues to buyers.
• Maintain quality control and inventory control manuals; follow safety policies.

An Inventory Control Associate at White Cap…

• Audit inventory to keep systems in balance during daily order processing.
• Research and resolve all issues, adjustments and discrepancies. Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures.
• Assists in maintaining inventory accuracy. Complete follow up to all previous inventory adjustments. Completes and reviews cycle counts.
• Maintain time control tables consistent with base tables, key and review allocations.
• Receives products from vendors to check for quality. Communicates potential quality issues to buyers.
• Maintains quality control and inventory control manuals.
• Lifts and carries up to 50 pounds.
• Follows company safety policy and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Generally has 2-5 years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift experience preferred.
• Spanish language proficiency.
• Experience with sales order computer software, preferably Oracle.
• Knowledge of construction and industrial products.
