Responsibilities

• Audit inventory to keep systems in balance during daily order processing.
• Research and resolve issues, adjustments and discrepancies; ensure compliance with internal control procedures.
• Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy; follow up on previous adjustments; perform and review cycle counts.
• Maintain time control tables consistent with base tables, key and review allocations.
• Receive products from vendors; check quality and communicate issues to buyers.
• Maintain quality control and inventory control manuals.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds; follow safety policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Generally has 2-5 years of experience.

An Inventory Control Associate at White Cap…

• Audit inventory to keep systems in balance during daily order processing.

• Research and resolve all issues, adjustments and discrepancies. Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures.

• Assists in maintaining inventory accuracy. Complete follow up to all previous inventory adjustments. Completes and reviews cycle counts.

• Maintain time control tables consistent with base tables, key and review allocations.

• Receives products from vendors to check for quality. Communicates potential quality issues to buyers.

• Maintains quality control and inventory control manuals.

• Lifts and carries up to 50 pounds.

• Follows company safety policy and procedures.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Generally has 2-5 years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift experience preferred.

• Spanish language proficiency.

• Experience with sales order computer software, preferably Oracle.

• Knowledge of construction and industrial products.
