Job summary

Walgreens in Vermont is seeking an inventory and operations associate to manage front-end and pharmacy inventory, pricing, and stock integrity. You will monitor deliveries, process vendor returns, and support store leadership by ensuring accurate counts and planograms while delivering outstanding customer service.

This role requires flexible scheduling, prior Walgreens or retail experience, and a keen eye for detail.

Qualifications

• Must have six months of prior Walgreens experience or one year of retail experience.
• Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi task and manage execution.
• Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Execute and monitor inventory processes for front end and pharmacy, including receiving, counting, ordering and returns.
• Review and coordinate reports and system applications affecting on-hand balances and pricing.
• Execute and maintain asset protection, pricing and inventory controls; process returns and vendor overages/damages.
• Open and close the store in the absence of management where required, including cash handling and POS responsibilities.
• Engage customers, lead on duty in designated stores, resolve issues and deliver a positive customer experience.
• Coach team members on inventory management processes and ensure accurate posting of all pharmacy shipments and recall activities.
• Complete On-Shelf Availability end-to-end processes, including disposals, call-ins and vendor returns.
• Maintain accurate pharmacy inventory counts, postings, and regulate compliance for controlled items as applicable.
• Support ordering and pricing activities, monitor orders, and manage stock and consigned inventories.
• Ensure proper documentation, receives and postings for inventory systems and maintain orderly records.
