Forney Industries Inc. is seeking an Inventory Analyst to improve inventory accuracy through cycle counting, reconciliation, and data analysis.

You will work with Körber/Edge systems to verify quantities, coordinate with counting teams, and implement lean material management practices to boost picking efficiency. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to train staff and lead kaizen initiatives in a warehouse setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree preferred.
• 2-4 years warehouse inventory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Train Operations Associates in inventory accuracy processes.
• Coordinate cycle counts with inventory counting team and reconcile discrepancies.
• Verify inventory quantities using Körber/Edge and match by location; investigate inaccuracies and adjust as needed.
• Compare purchase orders to received materials for accuracy.
• Learn and implement lean material management practices, including pull and kanban.
• Identify process issues and work with leadership to implement solutions.
• Communicate inventory issues proactively with Inventory Manager.
• Gathers accurate information using Körber/Edge system for records.
• Lead data pulls for ABC analysis and slotting to optimize picking strategies.
• Understand warehouse design and workflow to present products for picking.
