Job summary

Communications & Power Industries is seeking an experienced Inventory Analyst to support accurate inventory management across manufacturing operations. You will analyze data, resolve discrepancies, and partner with Materials, Purchasing, Production, Warehouse, and accounting to ensure materials are available when needed.

Your role involves cycle counts, audits, variance investigations, and developing inventory reports to drive process improvements.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in inventory control or related fields.
Experience in manufacturing environments preferred.
Strong knowledge of inventory control principles and practices.
Experience with ERP/MRP systems and inventory transactions.
Excellent Excel skills and data analysis ability.
Ability to research and resolve discrepancies and to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP/MRP system.
Analyze levels, usage, transactions, and trends to identify discrepancies.
Coordinate cycle counts and physical inventories.
Investigate variances and determine root causes.
Reconcile physical inventory to system records and process adjustments.
Develop inventory reports, metrics, and dashboards.
Support continuous improvement initiatives in Supply Chain and Materials Management.
