Job summary

Associated Materials Innovations is seeking a Materials Analyst to maintain accurate inventory levels and oversee material control in receiving and storage areas. You will monitor deliveries, perform cycle counts, and provide timely reporting to keep supply chain operations smooth.

You will use AMI systems (MRR, Power BI, Mainframe, Elwin, Recon) and generate BOLs, while collaborating with production to prevent downtime and ensure KPI targets are met.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of one year experience with inventory management in an industrial environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize work assignments and strong organizational skills.
• Strong teamwork capabilities.
• Proficient in MS Office and data entry.
• Must be able to read, speak and understand English.
• Ability to drive a forklift and obtain suitable certification.
• Must be able to work a 40-hour work week, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
• Bi-lingual in Spanish preferred.
• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical inventories to ensure proper levels for plant operations.
• Maintain accurate inventory in main receiving and storage areas.
• Conduct cycle counts and provide timely feedback to Materials Supervisor.
• Generate daily materials list for outage report.
• Report shortages/damaged inventories to Receiving Clerk/Materials Supervisor.
• Communicate material issues to Production to prevent disruptions.
• Maintain organized, accurate inventory system with a high sense of urgency.
• Proficiently use AMI systems including MR R, Power BI, Mainframe, Elwin, and Recon transportation system.
• Generate BOL for shipments via Freight and schedule pickups.
• Monitor Production WIP against production planning and ensure on-time deliveries.
• Track supplier deliveries and follow up with planners; initiate Supply chain NDA's when needed.
• Adhere to HR, Safety, Quality and delivery policies; support KPIs.
