Planet Labs Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Analyst for our San Francisco office. You will drive cycle count programs, manage physical inventories, and optimize stockroom workflows across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.

You will collaborate across Quality, Engineering, and Purchasing to resolve non-conformities, design efficient locations, and ensure audit-ready ERP/WMS data. This role requires 4+ years in inventory control and a strong independent work ethic.

Formación

• 4+ years in inventory control, cycle counting, or stockroom analysis.
• Ability to work independently with strong judgment and analytical skills.
• Proficient with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and email communication.
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite/Oracle) and WMS with audit-ready data integrity.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, execute, and refine daily and weekly cycle count programs; analyze variance trends.
• Lead physical inventory reconciliation for internal controls and audits; establish ERP/WMS audit trails.
• Oversee MRB process; partner with Quality, Engineering, and Purchasing to resolve non-conforming stock.
• Design and optimize bin, shelf, and rack locations to maximize stockroom efficiency (5S).
• Research discrepancies; evaluate system histories and devise solutions when guidelines fail.
• Monitor stock levels across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods to prevent shortages/overages.
• Provide technical guidance to adjacent teams, supporting kitting and logistics during high demand.
• Support kitting activities and minor logistics as needed.
