Job summary

Planet Labs PBC is seeking an experienced Inventory Analyst in San Francisco to drive stock accuracy and optimize workflows across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods. The role bridges supply chain, quality, and engineering with a focus on audit-ready data and process improvement.

In this full-time, in-office position, you will oversee cycle counts, MRB processes, and stockroom organization, while supporting kitting and logistics during peak production. Strong ERP/WMS experience is essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in inventory control, cycle counting, or stockroom analysis (Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent).
• Ability to work independently with strong judgment to resolve complex inventory issues.
• Proficient with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office and email communication.
• Proficient in ERP systems (NetSuite/Oracle) and WMS with audit-ready data integrity.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on feet in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and refine daily and weekly cycle count programs; analyze variance trends to identify root causes.
• Lead physical inventory reconciliation for internal controls and audits; establish ERP/WMS audit trails.
