Job summary

Wright-Patt Credit Union is seeking an Internal Communications Specialist to transform internal platforms and keep employees informed and engaged. The role focuses on SharePoint-based intranet management, content creation, and optimizing MS 365 tools.

You will lead intranet improvements, publish timely communications, and support the department with MS 365 best practices while aligning with corporate objectives.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Communications or related field with 5 years of office experience, marketing or internal comms a plus.
• Strong written communication skills and ability to craft engaging content.
• Proven ability to learn new technologies as they emerge.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams).
• Experience with Power Automate is a plus; proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite or Canva is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain internal communications materials supporting credit union objectives.
• Manage internal content calendar in alignment with goals and requirements.
• Oversee SharePoint-based intranet (PartnerNet): review, publish, manage lifecycle, and optimize pages.
• Coordinate MS 365 usage: identify and implement ways to reduce manual work using Power Automate, Forms, and SharePoint lists.
• Support Marketing with additional tasks and projects; mitigate risk by following policies and controls.
