Job summary
TGW Systems Inc. in Grand Rapids, MI, seeks a Retrofit Process and Software Consultant to help ensure TGW solutions fit client WCS/WMS environments.
You will analyze current distribution processes with client teams to ensure feasibility and guide upgrades and enhancements. Responsibilities include site visits, responding to RFIs/RFPs, designing software interfaces, developing detailed requirements, and collaborating with IT, operations, and engineering teams to ensure successful project
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in high-level design or intralogistics software.
- Travel up to 25% (domestic and international).
Responsibilities
- Visit TGW customer sites to understand current operating environments.
- Provide software and IT responses for RFIs, RFPs, and IT assessments.
- Collaborate with IT, operations and software teams on design and requirements.
- Develop process maps and detailed requirements; contribute to cost estimates.
- Assist in hand-off to software integration and retrofit design teams.
- Review RFP data, adjust contracts and planning as needed.
- Support software design sessions and simulation definitions.
