Qualifications

• Requires ARRT certification and NY DOH license with Injection.
• Associates degree or higher with formal radiologic technology training.
• 1-2 years of work experience in radiology.
• Knowledge of radiographic exposure equipment and imaging workflows.

Responsibilities

• Patient and room preparation and data entry into Epic/clinical systems.
• Obtain scout film and position patient for procedures.
• Assist during procedures and monitor equipment, fluoro time, and injections as needed.
• Maintain imaging workflow in Epic and PACS (Vue) and verify labeling/orientation.
• Photograph and process digital images, labeling for radiologist review.
• Maintain records of exams, fluoro time and injections; ensure radiation safety.
• Assist in training staff and students; keep area orderly and clean.
