Job summary

Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, NY seeks a Radiologic Technologist for evening shifts (Sat/Sun every other weekend) under the Chief Technologist. The role performs imaging studies with independence, leads staff technologists, and ensures safety and quality in imaging workflow.

Responsibilities include patient prep, image acquisition, assisting interventional radiology, maintaining Epic and PACS records, and training associates.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree required.
• ARRT certification required.
• Licensed by NY DOH as Radiologic Technologist with Injection.

Responsibilities

• Patient and room preparation and data entry into Epic.
• Obtain cut film and digital images with proper exposure settings.
• Direct involvement during interventional procedures with sterile equipment.
• Maintain imaging workflow in Epic and Philips Vue (PACS) and verify images.
• Photographing and processing of images for radiologist interpretation.
• Maintain records of films, fluoro time, injections, etc.
• Observe radiation safety rules for patients and staff.
• Assist in training other associates and students.
