Job summary

Montefiore Medical Center in New York is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to perform imaging procedures with independence in the interventional radiology setting. You will lead imaging exams, ensure high-quality results, and uphold safety standards in a busy clinical environment.

Requirements include an Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology, ARRT certification, NY DOH license with Injection, and a minimum of two years’ experience.

Qualifications

• Formal radiologic technology training and ARRT certification.
• State license by NY DOH as Radiologic Technologist with Injection.
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in radiology.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and rooms; enter data into Epic and other systems.
• Acquire cut-film and digital images with proper exposure settings.
• Assist interventional radiologist during procedures.
• Maintain imaging workflow in Epic and Philips Vue (PACS).
• Label, process and display images for radiologist interpretation.
• Maintain records of films, exposures, injections, etc.
• Follow radiation safety regulations for patients and staff.
• Train associates and students as needed.
• Maintain orderly and clean work area.
• Perform duties of a 5T/4T technologist when required.
• Perform other related tasks.
