Job summary

Montefiore Hudson Valley Collaborative is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform imaging studies with independent judgment and leadership within the radiology team. You will work under the Chief Technologist, manage scanner setup, ensure image quality, and assist interventional procedures while maintaining strict radiation safety.

Requirements include an Associate degree, ARRT certification, and NY DOH Radiologic Technologist license with Injection, with 1–2 years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate Degree and formal radiologic technology training.
• Must hold ARRT certification and NY DOH Radiologic Technologist license with Injection.
• Strong knowledge of radiographic exposure equipment and image quality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and room for procedures and enter data into Epic.
• Acquire scout films and high-quality radiographs for diagnosis.
• Assist interventional radiologist and monitor procedure progression.
• Maintain imaging workflow in Epic and Vue PACS, verify labeling and orientation.
• Photograph and process images for radiologist interpretation.
• Maintain records of exams, fluoro time, and injections.
• Ensure radiation safety for patients and staff.
• Train associates and students as needed.
