Job summary

Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, NY, is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for the RAD - Operations Wakefield department. You will perform imaging studies, lead staff, and ensure radiation safety. The role is days, on weekends on alternate schedule, with an hourly rate of $46.11.

Requirements include ARRT certification, NY DOH license with Injection, and 1–2 years of radiologic experience. Epic and Philips Vue PACS experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in radiologic technology and ARRT certification.
• NY DOH license as Radiologic Technologist with Injection.
• 1 years radiologic experience minimum.
• Ability to interpret radiologic and medical terminology for patient and staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient and room; enter data into Epic.
• Obtain radiographs and digital images with proper exposure.
• Assist interventional radiologist during procedures.
• Maintain imaging workflow in Epic and Philips Vue PACS.
• Label, process and display final images for radiologist interpretation.
• Maintain records of films, fluoro time, injections.
• Observe radiation safety rules for patients and staff.
• Assist in training staff and students.
• Perform duties of a 5T/4T technologist as needed.
• Perform other related tasks.
