Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Pensacola, FL seeks an experienced Interventional Radiology Technician to assist physicians during procedures, prepare rooms, and ensure patient safety and comfort.

The role requires ARRT certification or state licensure, 4–6 years of related experience, and proficiency with C-arm and ultrasound equipment, sterile technique, and record-keeping; you will support CQI and inventory control as part of daily operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s Degree desirable; and Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred.
• Current ARRT Certification and/or State Licensure (as per state regulations) Interventional Radiology certificate preferred.
• 4 – 6 years’ related experience desirable. 1 year experience preferred for Candidates with ARRT.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient and procedure room per policies and regulations.
• Set up and stock procedure room with supplies and interventional equipment.
• Explain procedures to patient and address questions.
• Assist physician during interventional procedures and maintain sterile technique.
• Input patient data into imaging systems and archive images per policy.
• Monitor and ensure equipment is functioning; advise on replacements or repairs.
