Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Westwood, NC is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to support physicians during interventional procedures and ensure the highest standard of patient care. You will assist with room setup, sterile technique, fluoroscopy, and imaging documentation, while maintaining regulatory compliance and CQI practices.

You should have ARRT certification or state licensure, a high school diploma or higher, and demonstrated experience with C-Arm and ultrasound

Qualifications

• Experience supporting interventional radiology procedures is required.
• Knowledge of sterile technique and universal precautions.
• Proficiency with radiology equipment and patient care.
• BLS certification is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Prepare procedure room and patient for interventional radiology procedures.
• Set up trays and supplies; assist with fluoroscopy as needed.
• Explain procedures to patients and address questions.
• Assist with patient transfers and positioning.
• Maintain radiology equipment and inventory; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Document and archive patient data and imaging results.
• Participate in CQI and quality improvement activities.
