Job summary

UNC Medical Center in Chapel Hill seeks an Interventional Radiology Radiologic Technologist for a per diem role. You will provide radiographic support during interventional procedures, assist with equipment setup, and ensure documentation accuracy.

Education: Associate's degree in Radiologic Sciences with ARRT certification preferred and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Per diem schedule, onsite, with 8-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologies (ARRT) or registry eligible and registered within one year of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Documentation and scheduling of procedures with complete patient and procedure information.
• Operates radiographic equipment and mobile fluoroscopic systems during interventional procedures.
• Provides patient care before, during, and after procedures and assists in obtaining informed consent.
• Prepares interventional suite, sterile trays, and accessories for procedures.
• Assists physicians with supplies and equipment during procedures and supports team coordination.
