Job summary

UNC Health Care is seeking an Interventional Radiology Radiologic Technologist for per diem work in Chapel Hill, NC. Responsibilities include exam documentation, equipment operation with mobile fluoroscopy, patient care before and after procedures, and sterile setup of interventional suites.

The role requires an Associate's degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program, ARRT registration or eligibility, and BLS certification. Per Diem status, onsite work, variable schedule.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or completion of an Accredited Radiologic Sciences Program.

Responsibilities

• Documentation: schedule procedures and document patient and procedure information in radiology information systems and hospital systems.
• Equipment Operation: provide radiographic support with mobile fluoroscopic equipment and digital imaging systems; ensure image quality and safety.
• Patient Care: describe exams, obtain consent, pre-procedure workups, post-procedure care.
• Set Up: prepare interventional suite, sterile trays, equipment, transport, and prerequisite diagnostics.
• Supply Management: track and restock supplies, document usage and billing information.
• Team Support: assist physicians by providing necessary supplies and participate in hands-on management during procedures.
