Job summary

UNC Health Interventional Radiology team in Chapel Hill seeks a full-time Radiology Technologist to provide multi-modality imaging support during interventional procedures. The role requires experience with fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT and related equipment, and close collaboration with anesthesiology and surgical teams.

Education includes an associate degree in Radiologic Sciences and ARRT certification; BLS/ACLS required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiological Sciences or registry eligible and become registered within one year from date of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification

Responsibilities

• Documentation Schedules patient for hospital transportation and coordinates with anesthesia and other teams to minimize delays.
• Operates interventional imaging equipment and ensures proper image manipulation and transmission.
• Prepares patient and assists interventional proceduralist as first assist.
• Maintains equipment and supplies, completes procedural documentation and billing information.
• Supports team and may coordinate staff schedules and patient workflow.
