Job summary

UNC Health's Interventional Radiology team in Chapel Hill, NC, seeks a part-time Radiologic Technologist with expertise in multimodal imaging for interventional procedures. Qualifications

• Associate's degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or registered within 1 year from hire (or eligible).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Documents patient scheduling for hospital transport; coordinates with anesthesia and ICU to minimize delays.
• Prepares procedural orders and confirms patient identity and consent.
• Maintains procedure room documentation and supplies; records fluoroscopy and sedation used.
• Ensures proper coding, image transfer to IMPAX, and fusion roadmap for aortic repair.
• Operates fluoroscopic, ultrasound, and CT systems; performs post-processing and QC.
• Provides multi-modality imaging support and assists during intra-operative cases.
• Sets up interventional suite and manages sterile technique and supply chains.
• Supports team; onboards new staff and precepts radiography students.
• May perform workflow coordination and liaison roles.

Education

Associate's degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program.
