Job summary

UNC Health Interventional Radiology in Chapel Hill, NC seeks a per diem Radiology Technologist to perform interventional radiology procedures and related imaging tasks. You will collaborate with physicians, prepare sterile setup, document procedures, and ensure patient safety and accurate imaging documentation.

The role requires an Associate's degree in Radiologic Sciences, ARRT registration or eligibility, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program.
• ARRT registration or eligibility and BLS certification.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Document patient data and procedure details in radiology systems.
• Operate radiographic equipment and ensure image quality and safety.
• Describe exam to patient and obtain informed consent; complete paperwork.
• Set up interventional suite and prep site in sterile fashion.
• Manage supplies and track billing-related information.
• Support physicians during procedures and precept new staff.
