Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Registered Radiologic Technologist for the Heart & Vascular Institute. You will assist physicians in invasive cardiology and radiology procedures, ensuring patient safety and accuracy in imaging and documentation.

The role emphasizes high-quality patient care, adherence to sterile techniques, and collaboration with physicians, dosimetrists, and staff across departments. A sign-on bonus is available.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• Registered in Radiography (R) with ARRT.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist - Radiography (IEMA).
• ACLS certification within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Administers contrast material per physician’s request and monitors for reactions.
• Under supervision of a physicist or dosimetrist, performs duties.
• Assists with inventory and supplies.
• Verifies patient identity, diagnosis and treatment position.
• Documents clinical information per policy and procedures.
• Provides patient communication, comfort, safety, and confidentiality.
