Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Registered Radiologic Technologist to support patient care in the Heart & Vascular Institute. The role involves assisting physicians during invasive cardiology and radiology procedures, documenting findings, and maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Candidates must have ARRT in Radiography, hold an appropriate degree or certificate, and be prepared for on-call duties and variable shifts. A sign-on bonus is available for eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT registration required.
• Licensure and ongoing certifications as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Administers contrast material per physician's request and monitors for reactions.
• Under direct supervision of physicist or dosimetrist.
• Assists with inventory and supplies.
• Verifies patient and chart identification and correct treatment position.
• Documents clinical information per policy.
• Educates patient about procedures and ensures comfort and confidentiality.
• Performs essential Radiologic Technologist duties.
• Participates in on-call duties and variable shifts.
