Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Special Procedures and Cath Lab Technologist in Youngstown, OH to assist licensed practitioners in fluoroscopic and interventional procedures. The role requires sterile technique, ARRT/CCI certification, and 1 year radiology experience.

Proficiency with EPIC EHR and PACS is preferred. The position involves patient preparation, documentation of medications and radiation exposure, and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
• 1 year radiology experience with surgical exposure preferred.
• ARRT or CCI certification required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs high quality diagnostic vascular examinations using ultrasound and physiologic testing.
• Prepares patients for procedures, explains the procedure and provides instructions.
• Contacts referring physician for clarification prior to exam when needed.
• Uses hospital EMR to review patient information and document findings.
