Mercy Health in Cincinnati is seeking a Special Procedures and Cath Lab Technologist to assist licensed practitioners in fluoroscopic and interventional procedures, while maintaining sterile technique and documenting medications and radiation exposure according to policy.

You will perform vascular ultrasound and physiologic testing, prepare patients, review EMR, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, efficient care and adherence to mission and values.

Qualifications

• ARRT/CCI certification required.
• BLS certification preferred and must be obtained before direct patient care.
• ACLS and CV interventional certifications preferred.
• ARRT CV/VI certifications preferred.
• State licensure preferred if required by state.

Responsabilités

• Performs vascular ultrasound and physiologic testing to evaluate cerebrovascular and peripheral systems.
• Prepares patients for procedures and explains the process to minimize anxiety.
• Contacts referring physicians for clarification as needed.
• Uses EMR to review patient data, enter preliminary reports, and document findings.
• Maintains safety, infection control, and patient confidentiality.
