Job summary

UNC Health in North Carolina is seeking a Special Procedures/Cardiac Cath Technologist to perform radiologic assessments under radiologist supervision. You will assist with image-guided vascular procedures and manage equipment, documentation, and patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include two years of radiologic technology training, NC RN licensure, ARRT registration with VI preferred, and BLS certification. The role is full-time and on-site at Wayne Health.

Qualifications

• Completion of two years of formal Radiologic Technology training in a school approved by the AMA.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
• Registration by the ARRT required. VI Radiography certification preferred. BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic, special and radiographic procedures.
• Assists in invasive procedures; scrubbing, circulating, monitoring and recording data.
• Prepares patients and administers contrast media per orders.
• Operates radiology equipment and transfers images to PACS.
• Maintains room readiness and supports quality programs.
