Job summary

Nash UNC Health Care in Nash County, NC is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech to perform advanced diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab. You will scrub, monitor, and assist providers, supporting life‑saving measures and ensuring equipment readiness.

Responsibilities include patient transport, peri-procedural care, data collection, and on-call coverage as needed. A Radiology Tech or CVT background with ARRT/RCIS credentials is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Radiology Technologist Program or CVT program graduate.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire; BLS certification.
• RCIS must be obtained within 2 years; ARRT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with transporting patients to nursing units.
• Attend to patient needs during cardiac lab procedures.
• Circulates during procedures and assists the physician with catheters.
• Obtain and record hemodynamic data using appropriate equipment.
• Participate in life-saving measures including defibrillation and CPR.
• On-call as scheduled, if applicable.
• Prepare patients and equipment for cardiac lab procedures.
• Ensure adequate stock in the lab rooms.
