Job summary

Intermountain Health seeks a part-time Angio/Interventionalist to support the imaging service line in Denver. Responsibilities include scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring, with focus on safe procedures and quality imaging.

Required ARRT, BCLS, ACLS, PALS (within time frames), and state licensure; minimum 2 years experience preferred for II level, VIR certification is a plus. 30 hours/week at Saint Joseph Hospital.

Qualifications

• ARRT registry required at hire.
• BCLS certification required.
• ACLS certification within 120 days.
• PALS required for pediatric hospitals within 120 days.
• Relevant state licensure/certifications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain up-to-date licensure and certifications for the position.
• Provide procedural assistance as circulating/scrub/monitoring tech.
• Operate IR equipment to produce high-quality images.
• Prepare patient, verify order, and identify patient.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment.
• Follow protocol for medical necessity, coding, and consent.
• Educate patient, ensure comfort, address concerns.
• Keep accurate records of procedures and adverse events.
• Coordinate patient care and communicate with other providers.
• Post-procedure sheath management to achieve hemostasis.
