Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Angio/Interventionalist to perform angiography procedures, scrubbing, setting techniques, and imaging in a part-time role at Saint Joseph Hospital, Denver, CO. The position supports our Imaging service line with emphasis on safety, accuracy, and patient care.

The role requires ARRT, BCLS, ACLS within 120 days, and state licensure; pediatrics requires PALS within 120 days. Prior interventional experience is preferred and VIR certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required and active at hire.
• BCLS and ACLS certifications required or obtained within stated deadlines.
• Current state licensure or equivalent certifications.
• PALS for pediatric hospitals within 120 days.

Responsibilities

• Maintains up-to-date licensure and certifications required for position.
• Provides procedural assistance as a circulating tech, scrub tech, or monitoring tech.
• Operates IR equipment and related information systems to ensure quality images.
• Prepares patient and verifies identity and orders for the exam.
• Follows radiation safety guidelines and maintains a safe environment.
• Adheres to medical necessity, coding, consent, and QC protocols, and reports equipment issues.
• Provides patient education and addresses concerns while ensuring comfort.
• Keeps accurate records of procedures and any adverse events.
• Coordinates patient care and communicates with other caregivers.
• At procedure end, manages sheath and hemostasis as required.
