Job summary

Intermountain Health in Denver seeks an Angio/Interventionalist to complete angiography procedures, scrub, and image acquisition, supporting our Imaging service line. This role emphasizes patient care, safety, and collaboration within a skilled team.

Part-time 30 hours weekly at Saint Joseph Hospital. The position requires ARRT, BCLS, ACLS within 120 days, state licensure, and pediatric certification where applicable; the role offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification or equivalent required.
• Current BCLS and ACLS certifications within specified windows.
• State licensure or certifications as applicable.
• PALS certification for pediatric hospitals as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintains up-to-date licensure and certifications required for position.
• Provides procedural assistance as a circulating tech, scrub tech, or monitoring tech, according to Angio lab policies and procedures and Scope of Practice documents.
• Understands and operates IR equipment and related information systems to ensure quality images.
• Ensures proper patient identification, order verification, and prepares the patient for the exam.
• Adheres to radiation safety guidelines and maintains a safe working environment.
• Follows protocol for medical necessity, coding and charging guidelines, and obtaining consents.
• Provides patient education and addresses concerns.
• Keeps accurate records of patient information and procedures performed.
• Coordinates patient care and communicates with other providers after procedure.
• At procedure end, manages sheath hemostasis as needed.
