Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Angio/Interventionalist to perform angiography procedures, scrubbing, and imaging in a hospital setting. You will support the Imaging service line and contribute to high-quality patient care.

The role requires ARRT, BCLS, ACLS within 120 days, and state licensure, with PALS for pediatric hospitals. Part-time schedule includes three 10-hour shifts at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required or eligible
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) required
• ACLS certification due within 120 days
• State licensure/certifications as applicable
• PALS required for pediatric hospitals within 120 days

Responsibilities

• Maintains up-to-date licensure and certifications required for position.
• Provides procedural assistance as a circulating tech, scrub tech, or monitoring tech.
• Operates IR equipment and related information systems to produce quality images.
• Prepares patient identification, order verification, and exam readiness.
• Adheres to radiation safety guidelines and maintains safe environment.
• Follows protocol for medical necessity, coding and charging, and obtaining consents.
• Provides patient education and comfort; addresses concerns.
• Keeps accurate records of patient information, procedures, and adverse events.
• Coordinates patient care and communicates with other providers post-procedure.
• Cares for sheath management and hemostasis at procedure end.
